* Liked the way Sigourney Weaver splattered "Alien" slime?

* Licked your lips over how Uma Thurman sliced & diced her way through various assassins in order to "Kill Bill"?

* Cheered Jamie Lee Curtis on at the way she administered her medicine to cure the world of a deadly "Virus"?

Catherine Zeta Jones in "THE MASK OF ZORRO" --
Neve Campbell in the "SCREAM" series --
Geena Davis in "CUTTHROAT ISLAND" --

etc., etc....

Regardless of whether or not you may have liked the specific movies they appeared in, one thing seems to be certain: The wimpering, simpering helpless "Damsel-In-Distress" is OUT, and the strong, capable female who can handle her own is very IN! Gone is the "catatonic" Barbara of the original "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" of the 1960s: A tough-as-nails, level headed Barbara has succeeded her in the 1990s ... AND WE LOVE IT!!!

WE LOVE OUR "TOUGH GIRLS" -- Women who can kick @$$ AND take names!

Which movie (whether you've enjoyed it or not) presents the best example of YOUR ideal movie "Tough Chick"? -- And she DOESN'T necessarily have to be the "main" or "major" character, either! She can just as likely be a 'supporting' cast member (for example: Jenette Goldstein, who portrayed Space Marine "Vasquez" in "ALIENS").

Let's broadcast to the world
(or amongst ourselves, at least)
that "Uberb!tches" RULE!

Milla Jovovich was the best of both worlds in The Fifth Element -- at times terrified and others fiercome.

Yeah... I forgot all about Milla in "T5E"... she was good -- 'fierce' but also 'feminine' (that's always a great combination)!

Catwoman (Michell Pfeiffer)
Farscape's Aeryn Sun played by Claudia Black (a television show, but Aeryn is the ultimate in kick-ass female heroines, and she is very real too. )
Sharon Stone "the Lady" in The Quick and the Dead.
Crouching Tiger girl and the older woman, too.
Sophie Marceau in The World is not Enough (I think. James Bond villainess, anyway.)
