LOL my mother said that same thing.
"There is no way she could kill them"
then I said, "Yeah well there is no way some giante creeper creature is flying around eating kids from a school bus trapped on a old back road."
I mean my mother loves all those horror movies for Christ's Sake and all they are are things that couldn't happen!

A few idiots sitting behind me and friends while watching Last Samurai

Kill Bill Vol.1, at theatre, the guy behind me is kicking my seat every time a cool scene shows up.
Jack: "If you don't stop right now, you'll go home in a bag! B+atcXCH!" :D
These stupid people in the theater, while watching KB 2: "Oh no she [Bride] didn't ! I would've shot him [Bill] as soon as I saw him."
And I'm thinking: "Yeah that would be great for her daughter to watch; seeing her father get killed shouldn't traumatize her at all."

Puppets are better. :p
Here's a common one: "There's no plot to Kill Bill v.1!" duh! try watching the first half of almost any movie and look for a plot.
I heard this about the original Star Wars:
"What crappy special effects!"
I also heard that FOTR thing...really sad.
While watching KB v.2: "Why doesn't Budd just kill her now?"

When Spider-Man came out everyone was complaining about Peter Parker having organic webs that really pissed me off! To begin with the movie itself was good and stayed faithful to the comics. A few changes don't make much of a difference. In fact some changes improved the story. For instance like changing the radio-active spider into an genetically engineered spider because we all know no one would survive a bite by a radioactive spider. Also the argument was a smart one. Where will Peter get the money to buy a web-shooter and continue to buy equipment when he spends most of the time struggling to get money for the morgage.
However, the DUMBEST complain I have EVER heard was for Martin Scorsese's The Last Temptation of Christ. God forbid that Jesus was actually a human being! I can't believe these fuc-ing fundamentalist were pissed off because Scorsese portrayed the human side of Jesus. Jesus was human people! He went though the same things we have all gone through. He died for our sins because he understood the human race. He was part of it. Jesus wasn't one of those Gods you read about in Greek mythology, he was actually a human being. Who just happened to be our messiah.

My fiance upon a second viewing of Atack of the Clones:
"Hey wait...did they just get married?"
Keeping in mind that she doesn't like most unrealistic movies (like Star Wars, superhero movies, ect.), I forgave her, especially since she went to see AOTC with me not once, but twice.

Woman: Ya...I guess theres going to be a sequel.
Man: Well I hope. I want to see what happens to that guy with the hairy feet and the magical ring.

Not that I give 2 *****s about LOTR, but not everyone lives and breaths these movies. Believe it or not some people do other things besides caring about all aspects of movies like we do. It's a shame, but that's how it goes. poor bastards.

My Nana is fun to watch movies with. My brother and I watched the Princess Bride and she made comments from the peanut gallery.
When Wesley dives into the quicksand headfirst with the vine I laughed and she said " Why are you laughing? That isn't funny."
Then when Inigo kills the 6-fingered man " That's terrible! What an awful thing to watch."
Then at the kiss at the end she says "Well, he's just going to eat her up isn't he?"
