LOTR: FOTR

But that's OK, b/c seeing it on a normal TV and seeing how much I was missing made me know to go see the next two in theatres- it's all gravy, baby!:)

I saw all 3 LOTR movies in the theatre, so I'm cool there. But I wish I was 20 years older, so I could have seen these in their original releases:

Star Wars: A New Hope
Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

i wish i first saw this in theater: THE MATRIX, OT STAR WARS.

I found out about the matrix when it came to DVD. but than there was a special screening before Reloaded and i got to see the original Matrix in OpenAir-RailwayStation-Cinema. but it wasn't the same. i knew everything and my ex-g/f was just distracting.

I also wish i first saw the Star Wars OT in theaters. would have been great i'm sure.

I saw the whole LOTR trilogy in theatre when it came out, i was very hyped cuz i loved the books. and it was a great expirience, i saw FOTR three times. and it isn't the same on DVD, i mean when you watch it in theatre it's all so bigger...you know what i mean.

and i saw Last Samurai 3 times in theatre, damn that was awesome, i bought the dvd and watched it and i don't have the same feelings like at the time...
thats why i realy love to go to cinema as often as i can,...

The scope of a movie like that can really only be appreciated on a big screen.

There's so many.

Saving Private Ryan for sure...that D-day scene would have been incredibly mind blowing...but I was only 10 at the time but still

Matrix and Jurassic Park (Actually I think I actually saw this at the theatre but I was 5 so I was probably scared to death)

Big Fish - Wish I would have found time to see it in theatres, but I could never find a time to go, just picked it up on DVD today, so I'll be watching it soon.

Terminator 2 - I was only 7 or 8 years old when this came into theatres, so even if I did, I know I wouldn't remember it.

Fight Club - Would have loved to see/hear everyone's reaction to this movie.

Hehe I even know which OpenAir-RailwayStation Cinema you mean :D

Anyway, for me it's also The Matrix. I have no idea why I didn't go see it when it came out.

No, I don't think they showed that where I live :(, and even if they had it couldn't have matched the thrill of seeing it when it first came out; speaking of which, Psycho is another film that would have been amazing to watch upon its first release.
