Washington: British actor Andy Serkis, better known as "Gollum," his character's name in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, is all set to play King Kong in Peter Jackson's new movie of the same name.

According to Teen Hollywood, Serkis who worked with Jackson in the "Rings" trilogy has been approached to play in the King Kong remake.

If he accepts the role, he will once again be transformed into a villainous creature with the help of computer graphics.

"I'm the perfect King Kong. About 13 years ago I once scaled the outside of the Eiffel Tower in the middle of the night," explains the actor. ANI
