Seinfeld on DVD?

When the heck is this coming on DVD? I mean everything and farmer Ted is out on DVD now. You'd think one of the more (if not the most) popular tv shows of the late 90's would be out by now.

Anyone know?

i heard that first they are gonna release "Best Of" dvd's

& then start releasing the seasons around Nov/Dec

the first season was only five episodes so I expect season one and two to be together.
Hopefully they can put them out three times a year (the demand will be huge, especially since Jerry loves DVDs and will put on good features) but even if they did it twice a year it would be 3.5 years until the series would be complete.

The Simpsons are now going for atleast another four years. So that's 19 seasons:eek:

It would be great if Seinfeld came out like Star Trek shows. Those seem to be out every three months.

Seinfeld dvds are going to be under everyones tree this xmas. I wouldn't be suprised if it broke some kind of a sales record.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Ever since Seinfeld ended, I have been highly anticipating the release of the DVD's. Just when I had given up hope, I came upon this thread. Thanks for the info.

What's the point in buying Seinfeld on DVD? They show the episodes at least twice a day in syndication... just tape them if you want them. Seems more economical to me.

yeah key term in there is syndication. i doubt the 2/3 of the seinfeld episodes that were produced are shown in syndication. the networks show the episodes that they bought from nbc. outta like almost 200 episodes, i always see the same ones every night.
