Should there be another Buffy spin-off?

Well folks it's finally happening. The last remanents of Buffy are leaving with the end of Angel as it enters its last season this year :( . However, there has been heated interest in maybe a few TV Angel movies on WB, and maybe even another character getting their own spin-off series. It doesn't look like it'll be happening anytime soon, but if they did make another spin-off who would you want to see get their own show?

I remember they were planning a Giles spin off but they never did it.

I would rather see none...But if I had to choose it would be Spike probably...

I don't think that there should be one...I would rather Angel just not end but that's not going to happen. I guess if I had to choose I would say Faith.

Not that I would necessarily want another spineoff I'd say Spike if there was one, which there won't be.

The thing about a Spike spin off is the fact that it would be exactly like Angel........... vampire with a soul, fighting for good, wears big black leather jacket etc bit pointless really. Every good thing comes to an end, it's just a shame that they'll ruin it before it ends

I agree...Spike and Angel may be the same shell of a character, but they are very different personality wise.

no buffy was really good sometimes and really bad some others angel was good at its first two seasons then went bad ... its enough it should all end

They should just leave it after Angel ends. Shame, Angel's on its last season but all shows need to end at some point. 5 seasons is a good run and i don't really think that they would be much point in having another spin-off. They should have gone ahead and made the 'Ripper' with Giles but i think that it's unlikely will see that show made. It's a shame that Faith didn't return to Angel, it was great to see her comeback in season 7 of Buffy and season 4 of Angel.

I've never understood why some many people like Drusila's character. I thought she was dull and boring and Buffy should have staked her in Buffy season two. All she ever did was play with her dolls and talk crap.

They should have at least had her and Darla go at it in a giant tub of jelly. Darla was so hot.

Joss Whedon needs to move on. His milked Buffy/Angel good and proper and the Angel storyline is beginning to show just how much the series has 'jumped the shark'

Your a looney, no shark jumped on this show, Bud. Just a great show that that is being left out in the cold for stupid reasons. I hope Dark Shadows bombs big and the WB execs weep for what thst have royally messed up. Also we have seen what happens to joss when he trys his hand in other venues and although I was one of the 10 people who watched Firefly, Fox still dumped it. I would nopt be in favor of a Faith or Dru spin-off those two are just two flakey. Spike joining Giles and Andrew would be like able.

sorry if your affended by that, but people wonder why angel got cancled. alot of people left the show because CC left. then joss tried to bring in spike to save the cordy departure. it didnt work.

that automtically left the female lead to fred who is now illyleria. she cant fit the role for the female lead.

spike cant be the head of a new show. he basically spent his time this season either ealier on moaning abotu buffy or later on this season bickering with angel. he doesnt have a history with any other cast member and the show just hit the fan.

spike cant work for a spin-off. sorry.

id have to say xander. there's alot more for his character to go into, and still alot of mysteries left from season 7 alone that were never delved into. xander has good moral and heartfelt characteristics. plus, you have a character who has no power and yet goes out every night and is willing to help out and destory the bad things that go bump in the night.

I think that perhaps they shouldn't do anymore spin-off shows. As much as I would like to see one, I think it's time to move on, even if they brought out another show, that show would have to eventually end. Seven seasons of Buffy and 5 of Angel, that's good enough runs, 7 years of good tv.
