If you have a top 25 list, put it here. It will waste less bandwith, we'd have less threads that we'd have to search through, and I would imagine that it'd be easier on the mods as well; instead of just making your own thread . . .

I'll have mine up later . . .

OT - If the mods don't like this idea, then feel free to delete it. I won't mind, I just figured it'd be less complex than the current situation . . .

1-The Empire Strikes Back
2-The Lord Of The Rings(FOTR, TTT & ROTK)
3-The Lion King
4-Attack Of The Clones
5-The Phantom Menace
6-The Matrix

11-A New Hope
12-Minority Report
13-The Sixth Sense
14-Return Of The Jedi
15-X-Men
16-Terminator 2: Judgement Day
17-Jurassic Park

Films that could possibly make it into the list in the next few years

Star Wars Episode III
X3 & X4(?)
Batman Begins
Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban
Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire
Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix
Spider-Man 2 & 3

Unless I hate Episode III, which is always possible, it'll be on the list. However, if it exceeds TPM, AOTC(which I strongly think it will) and TESB(which it could do, but it it doesn't, I'll try not to hold that against it), it could place at number one. X3 and X4(if a fourth is made) will make the list if they exceed X2. The next few HP could be fantastic, but who knows. I really hope Batman Begins is really good, but it seems like for every X2, there's a Daredevil and Hulk. Like X3 & X4, if Spider-Man 2 & 3 exceed the original, they COULD make the list.

Tornado: Memento came out in 2001(at least in the U.S, anyway). Having seen most of the films on your list, I think its pretty good. Personally, I didn't love TPOTC and while I did enjoy TLS, I thought it could have been better. Still, your list has many films on it that I like.

As for your grouping of Trilogies/Sagas/Bi-movies together, I think its a good idea for the most part. In the case of LOTR, Kill Bill and X-Men, I think its a must, as they all feel like one continous(sp?) film. In fact, Kill Bill is one film. However, for SW, I don't think I can group them together just yet. Sure, they are meant to tell one story, but each films has its own feel to it. Perhaps when Episode III comes out, I'll be able to put the films together, but not now.

Also, nice to see a fellow M.Night fan.

More people attach a little sentence to everymovie they list like JackBauer did, otherwise they are just worthless.

I'll do that.

25. Requiem For a Dream- Heartbreaking, disturbing and just plain great. Ellen Burstyn's heart wrenching performance alone made me put this over other movies I had in mind for this list.
24. Braveheart- Amazing directing, cinematography and battle scenes put this on the list.
23. Apocalypse Now- Some powerful images, COPPOLA, great acting and stunning cinematography make one hell of a war movie.
22. Rear Window- Master of suspense indeed. Probably the most suspenseful movie I've seen yet.
21. American History X- Norton. 'Nuff said.
20. 2001: A Space Oddysey- Trippy, mind blowing and overall amazing.
19.The Usual Suspects- Excellent script and acting. And it has a certain "X" factor that I can't just put my hand on.
18. Leon (The Professional)- Same as the Usual Suspects. Don't know exactly why I love it so much.
17. Taxi Driver- Dark and disturbing, another excellent performance by Robert DeNiro.
16. Dr.Strangelove- Hilarious.
15. Amadeus- Abraham and Hulce had great performances, and the directing is great. But it was the sound and music that made me love this so much.
14. Jaws- Excellent horror/thriller, with some memorable moments, good acting and Spielberg's brilliant directing.
13. Reservoir Dogs- Great action, suspense and characters. And "Stuck in the Middle With You" is one of the best scenes ever IMO.
12. Monty Python and the Holy Grail- The funniest movie of all time.
11. Se7en- Dark, gritty and somewhat scary. Brilliant script and Spacey is great.
10. Raging Bull- DeNiro as Jake LaMotta, in my opinion, is the greatest performance ever.
9. Memento- F**king brilliant screenplay.
8. The Godfather- Classic. Brando shines as does everybody else.
7. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest- Perfect mix of humour and drama, great performances all around.
6. The Shawshank Redemption-
5. Fight Club- There's just something about this movie. Acting and directing weren't excellent, but somehow I just love this movie.
4. Schindler's List- Horribly sad, with amazing cinematography. Had me staring at the wall for a while, in shock of what I had seen.
3. Goodfellas- Violent, darkly funny, with excellent acting and amazing directing by Scorsese.
2. Fargo- Brilliant screenplay, great cinematography/directing and MOTHERF**KING MARGE GUNDERSON.
1. Pulp Fiction- Perfect in every way. Memorable scenes throughout. Mind blowing screenplay and excellent everything else.
