Who do you consider as today's cinema tough guys and can they compare to the old school? I for sure miss the gritty no nosense beat em uppers that were Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson. So to name a few....

old school
kirk douglas
burt lancaster
marlon brando
yul brenner
john wayne
burt reynolds

new school
wesley snipes
michael biehn
jet li
hugh jackman
bruce willis
the rock

Assuming that they're (old school) are young now and got into a brawl with the new school, who'd kick most ass?

What about Arnie? Sly? and to a less extent your Van Damme?

New would kick their old ass. Really, if they fought, there would be no fight.

Add Arnie, Sly, Steven Seagal, Van Damme, Vin Diesil to the new list. NO CONTEST.

The new guys are stronger and more agressive and much more BAD ASS

You should go see The Punisher. Its kind off in the no nonsense style of the `70s.

Why is Michael Biehn listed in new school ??????

His only hits came in the 80's.

Michael Biehn's last tough guy role was in The Art of War (2000) opposite Wesley Snipes. He qualifies as being new school. True most of his hits were mid 90's and earlier.

Old School would win. They wouldn't even get a scratch on them.

Have to disagree.....new school is faster and better trained....perhaps if the old schooll could use guns...
