i hate new zombie movies like dotd remake res evil house of the dead 28 days later is not a zombie movie but that sucked too

come on guys these movies bite horrible acting digital effects are stupid and the wost is the stories for them the nothing like the og ones like
notld dotd day of the dead rotld city of the living dead revenge of the dead zombie and deep red sorry if i didnt say others that are good but my point is new zombie movies suck its like its a new fad and i miss zombies comming from the grave they dont do that in the new ones

I sort of agree. I would like to see the zombies come from the grave like back in the day (Return of the Living Dead, NOTLD, etc.). I wouldn't consider Resident Evil a zombie movie even completely. I liked the Dawn of the Dead remake though.

Ive liked the recent zombie movies. Sure they arent as good as the ones back in the day, but they are still good.

"HOTD" was dope IMO. Loved that graveyard shootout scene. Every human vs all the zombies, was cool. Too bad Casper and Liberty didn't make it.:(

Dawn of the Dead 2004 was great. Fun to watch and bloodier than I thought it would be. 28 Days was a good film. House sucked. NOTLD remake back in '90 was great. ROTLD part 1 was great and part 3(although the plot was ridiculous beyond a zombie flick). The new Day of The Dead remake they have planned is gonna suck.
They don't make zombie flicks like they use to true.. but Once Romero gets back into the action, we'll see a zombie movie, like they're suppose to be made. :alexkidd:

Well i absolutly loved Shaun of the dead, it was a homage to all the old skool zombie flicks and was damn right hilarious. I also enjoyed the new dawn of the dead, and thought 28 days later was ok!

The problem with some of the new zombie flicks is that the zombies RUN! Zombies shouldnt run, they should be slow..like death, it creeps up on you in the end.

Not really trying to take sides here or anything. But I have to admit, Jhuddy is just expressing his ways of thinking because someone verbally attacked him being rude. I don't blame him for saying "I don't care" because sometimes thats the best way to put it and ignore the person. I didn't think that was childish at all. I don't understand what the ROTLD 2 thing was all about but it seemed like he got attacked there too. Thats just me though... Lets, everyone just put that all aside and try to be a little calmer. no you can't get the Aussie zombie film Undead in America yet but Lions Gate is going to release here later this year. As for the the region 4 version it will be out within the next month or 2

How about Lifeforce? Technically it was a zombie movie. I thought that one was pretty good.

Anyone remember a movie called, "The Mausoleum", or "Mausoleum"? That was its title when I first saw it in the theatres back in '82 or so. I think it was renamed to "One Dark Night".

That was a pretty good zombie-like movie.

Don't remember it? Lemme help jog your mem a bit. It dealt with the usual victims - young college students - who enter a Mausoleum to initiate two girls into their sorority. Their intention is to scare the girls through various pranks. Unknown to them however a man who had some sort of psychic ability to drain the lifeforce from people by scaring them to death was interred there a few days earlier.

To put it short, he wakes up, uses his powers to animate the dead bodies and has them chasing the girls all through the mausoleum. Gross? Yes. Scary? Pretty much. Good setup? Yeah.

It sounds pretty stupid, but it worked pretty well.
