That was quite interesting.

LOTR is officially now one of the people banned from these forums. The day of his 1000th post . . . heheheh.

It's interesting to think that his whole existance, his whole fake personality on these forums was probably solely so he could attempt to become a moderator. Moderators have codes to things regular users don't have . . . things that could be used to hack into computers. Yes, LOTR was probably some sort of failed hacker. Even the Harry Potter forum would have given him access to tons of the poster's computer codes.

When he realized he could never be a moderator with his false name, he reacted extremely violently with a false name. He gave death threats to Tyler Durden, one of the people most skeptical about the LOTR persona. LOTR was found out . . . and banned.

Goodbye LOTR. But before you go, I have to say this . . .

i'm not a mod and i realise they have a tuff gig. but why was LOTR banned? what did you do under that handle that deserved banning? how can you know that it was him that was posting under that other handle and not someone else in his family? just like ryan2blair.

I think that the right thing was done last night. I have faith in JBond to make the right decisions. I see a big difference between what happened last night and the ryanblair2 issue. There wasn't any hateful speech in the ryanblair2 deal, but last night there was. There just seemed to be a lot more reasons to ban LOTR. If we are wrong, then so be it. What is done, is done.

Alright, all I know is that I posted my 2000th post and thought it to be a great night so I celebrated by gong to bed. And it turns out to be a great night, go figure. Anyway, I have no clue what just happened so if someone could PM me with just basic info (no top secret stuff that we're not supposed to know) as to what happened I would be happy.

Just one thought: If LOTR major plan was to become a moderator for evil reasons wouldn't he have made a better personality for himself?
