and there is good reason why we havent heard any such rummors - they all would suck. even gambit, IMO, couldnt pull off a successful enough movie for me. PLUS...they cant talk about a movie for him if he hasnt even been introduced in the Xmen movies...he has to be there and be successful b/f he could move on his own. it would still be a mistake then, IMO...just as a wolverine solo.

Captain America!
New Warriors? Ugh, someone needs to boycott the next poor Marvel movie so they fail to make a profit and realise that not all comic properties are meant to be made into movies.
Cloak & Dagger would not translate to the big screen either.

deadpool?here you go fella
April 7, 2004 — When asked about the possibility of a 'Deadpool' movie in issue #151 of Wizard Magazine, Marvel Studios VP Kevin Feige replied, "Deadpool is one of our favorite characters. It'll definitely find its way to the screen in the near future." Hopefully Feige is referring to the recent David Goyer/Mark Millar rumors and not just blowing smoke, but either way, at least it's on their 'To Do' list!

well, i think it's just a matter of time ;)

I'd rather see a Venom spin-off of the Spiderman movies than Spider woman.
Of course I'd rather see Venom appear in Spiderman 3 than his own movie but come on, someone has to give tribute to one of Spidey's cooler enemy's....

Yeah Gambit would be a cool movie.

hmm...
the only way i would want to see venom if he is clearly portrayed as a villain. non-sympathetic. non heroic. Spidey does NOT let him just leave at the end, like in so many of their battles.. Venom must be brought to justice, and his evil exposed.. I had serious problems with the moral ambiguity presented by Venom, and his promotion as an "anti-hero" with his own comics series..

I wanna see a Captain America movie

According to Avi Arad, Thor is in the works as well.
Not a fan of anything Marvel since the mid-eighties but the original Alpha Flight would have looked nifty. There has got to be a way that a group of canadian superheroes with names like Sasquatch and Puck can get on the big screen.

I think the only one that has potential is Gambit

Since there's no Gambit in the X-Men movies i'd love to see a Gambit film. That would be great, and imo they don't even have to show him in X3, just a solo flick with Gambit and a few short appearences by Wolverine, something like cameo

I would shave a viscious squirrel if they would release a Silver Surfer movie!
Think of it. The Silver Surfer enters earth space, battles it out with some orbiting defense satellites then after severely crippling the Earth's land-based defenses he transmits a warning that his master Galactus is approaching and will destroy the planet and they have such and such a time to jump rock. He then throws a massive bolt at some city as a warning, completely obliterating it (Yes, he's the consciousless S.S. right now :p ).
Oh yeah, the Fantastic Four has got to be in it as well. And the S.S. himself has got to have some top notch CG effects done on him and his board.
Heck, they could even distort the Marvel time-line (as usual) and add in one of the S.S.'s nemesis, maybe Tyrax the Tamer! or Thanos! or heck, how about Tyrax and Dr. Doom? God, I have to stop this, it's not gonna happen it'll suck waiting for it to happen.
Still though,
IT
WOULD
ROCK!
And the flames on the Human Torch would probably look awesome CGI'd...okay..I'm stopping...really!

They've already got an actor and director for Deadpool, so unless it gets caught in development hell somewhere, I'd look for it about 2006. Out of the group, it's probably the closest to coming to existance. I happen to be a Deadpool fan, and from what I've heard about the production, I've got high hopes.

spider woman, she don't even associate with spiderman, they better stick to the script, make sequels to the ones they have now, like punisher 2 and blade 3, no more spinoffs,

I think the trick with comic book adaptions now is to use comic books that no one really knows. If you use an unknown comic book, people wont walk into the movie thinking spandex and superpowers. That's why i think the old western marvel comics might work but you'd have to butch them up a bit. I saw pictures of them and the 70s style western just wont work. I alos think Deadpool would do good as well. And as much as i want to see Venom in a movie, i think the costume(especially his mouth) would be too hard to do. I think any attempts may come out real bad. My idea for venom is to have no mouth like spiderman's mask but when he threatens or tries to scare victims he opens it. Keep his mouth hidden most of the time.

Maybe a District X movie would be cool. I read the first issue yesterday and it had a nice build up to the end of the first issue. It'd really be a lot different from most Marvel movies, and superhero movies in general. With a human cop and Bishop as a detective working with him in a rundown part of NYC filled with drug using mutants and such.
