Isnt this like one of the first Generation X'er movies?

Yep. Ben Stiller directed it...I liked it. I'll get it. Hopefully it includes commentary by Stiller, a documentary (from the laserdisc, if there was a doc on it), deleted scenes, outtakes, and the trailer, among other things.

I hate this film with a passion. Ooo, look at me, I'm such a depressed teenager, i wear brown, life sucks, boo-who.

www.davisdvd.com has Universal's newly announced specs and I was pretty close. :)

Due on June 8th is Reality Bites: 10th Anniversary Edition, featuring a 1.85 anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, a new audio commentary with director Ben Stiller, deleted scenes, a retrospective featurette and trailers. Retail is $19.98.

OK movie. Worth watching. Worth owning for $10 or less.

Well, $19.99 retail means $14.99 actual price, and I bet I could find it online for $11, so that's not bad.

I might pay $11 for it. Where do you get your dvd's. I get mine at www.half.com seems to me to be the best place to buy dvd's. And the safest.

Half.com was better when I bought VHS -- the fixed prices usually end up being higher than eBay auction prices for DVDs.

Totally unrelated note, Pulp Fiction celebrates it's 10 year anni as well this year.

(Well, actually not totally unrelated; Tarantino went to take out the rights to "My Sharona" for the Pulp Fiction soundtrack but learned that Reality Bites had already obtained the rights.)

10th Anniversary also for Ace Ventura, The Mask and Dumb and Dumber, all three of which deserve Special Edition treatment from Warner (outtakes, deleted scenes, commentary, documentaries, and most of all, Ace in widescreen).
