Do you think they should Juggernaut in X3. If so, who should probably play him, with the help the of CGI like in the Hulk.

he should be in the movie IMO. It would be awsome. can't think of anyone to play him though.

i can't think of anyone else to play him. wonder if they'd make him all cgi like the hulk if they were to do him..*ponder ponder*

They dont possibly have anyone who could play the Juggernaut, he is just too big...IMO
EonBlueĆnima

6'10 would be possible...but someone 900 lbs...
yet its a movie..if wolverine was correctly done by comic characteristics...hes suppose to be 5'3...
i hope you get my point...

well if they wanted to have him in the movie they would have to make him a little smaller

I mean anyone would actually play him. I ment someone would play him in normal form. Then they would cgi to make an animated version of the actor, and using his voice and facial expressions. If they do, it will be a unknown. I think someone like David Keith, Ray Liotta, Adam Baldwin, or Steven Brand might good to use.

Well the way there going it looks like they're headed to the Pheonix Saga. If they could fit him in then sure. But I don't know if they shoudl heh.

I think for the next film or two they should just focus on the Phoenix saga and the characters involved with it. Juggernaut and Charles need to have the relationship between them be the focus of it's own story imo

It would be cool to see him in the film, but like most said. I dont know how could play him.
and they do seem to be headed down the phoenix storyline anyway, which should be interesting on its own.

it wouldn't be that hard.
there are plenty of people who are 7 foot and don't have too act that good.
they don't even have to look like him with that helmet.
it's not like he would be the main villan or something.
maybe an opening sequence with collosus and stuff.

Wasn't hard for Mr. Hyde in LXG, should be a little more realistic though.

They would have to make it CGI like Hulk, but that would cost very very much so I dont think we will see Juggernaut soon (at least not in X3). I would LOVE to see him, but with X-Men still not complete, that would be too soon...

I'd like to see Juggernaught. I can't see any way to do him properly other than CGI because of the hugeness of the character. No real man is that big.

But because that CGI costs a lot of money it would only make sence for Juggernaut to be the main villain in X4 or else...

Ive heard the cost of CGi has gone down and thats why a ton of movies have it nowadays. I could be wrong though.
Tony Montana
02-26-2004, 06:22 AM
But having Hulk kind of CGI still costs much, thats why they are still waiting with Fantastic 4. F4 would be FULL of CGI...
EvilDeadNDN
02-26-2004, 07:35 AM
yeah true.
But hey, if they can get the right budget then who knows. Thats what I heard with the LOTR's, no one wanted to take the chance of making it so new line gave em 300 mill to do em and it seems to me like theyre paying off.
Tony Montana
02-26-2004, 07:57 AM
LOTR were 3 movies that cost 300 together and all 3 made about 300 each, but F4 would be only 1 movie.

yeah I know, lol. Im just saying they should get some balls like new line did.
I mean, it wouldnt hurt to at least try, who knows you may have a blockbuster on your hands.
Im still waiting on ghostrider personally. and congrats on your CT.

Juggernaut is HULK-sized, so it would have to be-- hopefully.. a combination of mechanics and CGI.. get stan winston involved..
a "real actor" could play the human cain marko..

I don't think he would be too exciting as a main villian though I admit I am a Mr Marko fan (Apart from when he's doing the dirty with the She-Hulk. Ficton that makes me physically ill...the bed was all crushed! EW!)
I think maybe an appearance as a Danger room training program cus what with Jean and Chuck it would be so easy to whip that helmet off and knock him out...plus you would have to explain that crystal, the trapping uner the mountain...the abusive childhood.
We all know the big bad guy is going to be sentinals and the Dark Phoenix. How else could it be? But that does question The Hell Fire Clubs involvement as they use and abuse old darky. Hmmm...I would love to see Tessa and Salene.
Bring on Onslaught!
Bring on Apocolypse!
Bring on Sinister!
Bring on Omega!
Bring on FOH!
BRING ON THE GOBLYN QUEEN!
Juggernaut

Yeah, DEFINATELY bring on the unstoppable one!!! Make it like a mini- royal rumble.

I am sad to say but the Juggernaut will likely be CGI but a lot of wrestlers could fit the height requirement: Goldberg, Kane, The Undertaker, Triple H. It is not like they couldn't increase the bulk of the actor after the fact with CGI. I am sad that they did not do Colussus justice in X2, isn't Peter Rasputin suppost to gain 5 to 7 inches of height when he changes into Colussus? I think I remember that being that case in his stats in the Marvel Universe Handbook published in the late 80's.

Nah, I'd even prefer the Mastermold/bastion storyline in all honesty
Klimber
04-05-2004, 11:28 AM
I think the mastermold line will be tough b/c even the Sentinals are difficult to correctly add to the story much less the tossing Mastermold into the mix. The Sentinals are suppost to be something like 16 feet tall, that would make Mastermold like 200 feet tall. It really pulls away from the psudo-reality of the Xmen movies...it will end up being very Voltron visually on screen. The one popular factor about the X-men movies is that Singer weaves the story line into the real world. That make the story believeable to the audience. If they start adding some of the more farfetched Xmen storylines, no matter how popular, I think that they will drive avay their bread and butter moviefan. The mainstream public just is not ready for storylines like Mastermold, The Brood, Shiier (SP?), even Magneto's astroid base in space. They would do better using their powers against evil mutiants...I wan't to see Juggernaut, Avalanche, the Marauders. Actually that would be a great movie using the Marauders in the Morlock tunnels. I thought that that was one of the best X-men stories done. It was so huge that they spead it across five or six titles for at least 3 months.

Astroid M...and Shi'ar. I agree totally, but the idea of a 200 foot sentinal always made me giggle. I have to say I quite liked the Neo, though that too might be a bit Iffy...
I'd just love to see Stacy X, Chamber, Nate Grey and Threnody.

Yeah Brock wouldn't be a bad choice.
If Juggie were in the movie though, they'd have to change his origin. They should make him a mutant not the product of a "magic crystal". IMHO the X-Men mythos should remain mutant centered. Otherwise random superheroes really take the aura away from the mutants (or Homo Superior if you prefer), as well as their impact on regular human (Homo Sapien) society.

Agreed. There is far to much story and character depth to have Juggs and Charles just as a subplot in a phoenix orientated movie. Let's not go down the Batman & Robin road where they tried to introduce as many characters as physically possible.

Agreed. But I do not know how they could say the Prof X (Patrick Stuwart) and Juggernaut (Brock Lesnar) could be step brothers. May a wayward nephew senerio would work better.
Also to back up Inferno, I agree the Juggernaut would be better served as a Xen 4 villian because of the history between he and the Prof.

They could always do something along the lines of a Nimrod. I dunno if anyone remembers this character. Nearly wiped out the X-Men. Basically he was an advanced sentient (As in self-aware) future version of a Sentinel. Not too big, maybe around 6 feet tall.
Klimber

I never liked Nimrod, he was just unstoppable, and also it would be really hard to justify his existance in a movie story line. Here is a shot of Nimrod:

Also I found a good Nimrod vs Juggy story line review from Uncanny X-men issue 195. It makes for a good read:

Maybe ____________ (enter the name of any thick necked pro-wrestler here) would make a good Juggernaut.
No I say get some one who can act in a capitacy that requires some thing more than smashing folding chair on to your opponites back during a cage match.
