Assuming it ever gets completed, Indiana Jones IV will not have any suspense in whether our hero's life is at stake... I mean, look at YIJ!

He is still alive at the rather ripe old age of 93 in 1992! Talk about luck... Hmm, judging from his photo though, more like "lack thereof"!

Hmm, in this fourth one, Indy better think about altering his destiny and instead of searching for immortality, he should be looking for the Fountain of Youth!

And as a side note, we kinda already saw Indiana Jones in the 50s... I guess you could call it a prequel... Harrison Ford reprised the role in 'Mystery of the Blues', as a scarf-wearing, saxophone-playing, bearded Bohemian. I just hope that ain't gonna be what we'll see in Indy IV...

I can see the dialogue now...

"Dr. Jones! We're in grave danger!"

"Chill man, that's like... so square! Look at me! I'm a tree!"

Good one, Alex. I doubt he'll have a beard in Indy 4. They probably only did it to make him look older in "Mystery of the Blues." I wonder why the old Indy wears the eyepatch.

Can't remember, but I think it was brought up in a episode. Of course no flashback.

Oh, come on, it will be fine. I mean, you don't really think he's gonna die in any of the other movies, do you?

;)

They wouldn't kill him in the fourth one anyway. I just want to see Indy whoop some ass!

Maybe he gouges out his eye in Indy 4 when he trips after running with that saxophone...

in "mystery of the blues" Harrison agreed to do it only if they were to film it near his home-- Utah?-- anyway, he had the beard already, and the rest is neat history..
