Hey-- should Jason finally speak?

I think so.. the film producers need to up things up a notch, and not have him be such a... well, a silent dork.. that's been one of his debits, compared to freddy.. freddy had jokes, and taunted people.. jason just stalked... I'm not saying that Jason should be a joker, but giving him a voice allows the writers to be more creative with him.. maybe his first words could be "...Mother!" (shades of Norman Bates)...

I think making Jason speak is a mistake. Him not speaking is a big part of his appeal.

Incidently, Jason apparently did speak in an early version of one of the Friday the 13th movies----part 8 I think----but it was cut out. I guess director realized Jason Takes Manhattan was bad enough; no need to make things worse by having Jason talk.

Yes but michael myers isn't fighting anyone! i think Jason would be more of a match for freddy (because even though FVJ ended the way it did, we know its not over). Or else its freddy freddy freddy all the time, cracking jokes! i wanna see jason open his mouth and say something!!!!!!!!!

Should Jason's mask come off? Not for an extended period of time, but should it come off for a little while?

as for freddy i wish he didnt speak as much, he gets annoying when he talks,. coming up with all the dumb wannabe jokes,and stuff like he did in Jason vs Freddy it was not funny, very dul

Jason did talk in Jason Takes Manhattan. He said MaMa of Mommy or something like that, right before he was hit by a wave of toxic waste in the sewer and then turned back into a small boy, and no he should never talk again imo.

I think either the mask comes off totally or nothing. He can always put the mask back on but if a bit breaks of it will stay that way till he finds another mask. I think this would open too many possibilities for mistakes to happen and fans will start *****ing.

Nope, he should keep his silence. There wer moments in the vs Freddy movie when a one liner would have been really funny, but humour isn't really what Jason is all about.

I agree Jason shouldn't talk, Nemesis in RE:3 he says "S.T.A.R.S" now thats creepy it fill fright in me whenever i hear it.
