It got me too, abnormally loud. Looks like the first part of the report saying that the site will be made over in early January was correct. Now lets hope the part about the trailer coming out next week is right.

The side looks great, but hasn't changed much. I am waiting for a gallery with new pics. :(

It's the first update they've made in 10 months - maybe they forgot where they put the site! I'd guess we'll start seeing lots more in the next two weeks. If they have a trailer in the theatres and during the superbowl (which I gather is a big deal) they will want to have supporting info on the website for all the people who'll think "Cool trailer - what's it about?".
