Ok this posters back ground is a deep red the title and credits in white on the right hand side of the poster. On left hand side is black column running from the top to the bottom of the poster. The colunm is created from many well known symbols stacked on top of each other. These symbols from top to bottom are:

The clenched fist

I am going to guess Twister
* The eye on top is the eye of the twister

The hints of Fight Club (Ed norton's boss Zach Grenier was in twister) and A Beautiful Mind (Crowe's coworker and classmate Anthony Rapp was also in Twister) both sort of fit.

Clue time by the sounds:

Groundbreaking special and visual effects were used to create the non-human star of the film whose silhouette is visible in the top part of the logo. Oh, and according to the poster this film took much longer than most films to make. (This should give it away).
