Also, a good way to tell how long you've been on AIM is to add yourself to your buddy list.

M'kay, here's the true story:

I have a buddy on AIM who told me he's always been at the top of his buddy list, jokingly I assume. Then I got to thinking that it would be gimmicky and neat if I stuck SN into appropriate categories. Then I got to wondering what would happen if I IM'ed myself. I expected that a new chat window would pop up with a message from myself to myself, but I was mistaken.

I did that ages ago by accident once, I was well excited until I saw the name of the sender! :D
