he was a terrible actor and made some terrible movies besides American Pie 1&2. Did he fall out of favor so fast as that he is no longer in movies?

Bad Actors go away. He wasn't even smart enough to get on American Pie 3. Sure it sucked, but mind as well ride it out as long as you can!

The Farrellys rock.
Chris Klein on the other hand does not. I always pictured him as the next Keanu Reeves. A dumb looking actor who gets parts on his looks and his ability to say "whoa" with the full emotion of a carrot.

Are you saying he is not dumb enough to be the next Keanu? Or he is too dumb?
From your reply I can not tell.
Both of them posses the IQ of a tape dispenser and both dont really show too many emotions when acting, besides the deer stuck in headlights look for every scene of the movies they are in.

We were Soldiers was good...and truthfully, after watching Keanu Reeves in Somethings Gotta Give...you gotta give the dude credit actually. He was very good in that, actually, and I enjoyed his performance. Neo, I believe, was just an underwritten role. The sequels blew his chance of adding some life.

He didn't decide to not be in American Wedding, the filmmakers cut the characters they didn't want to use, because Chris Klein, Tara Reid, Natascha Lyonne and Mena Suvari all would have required salaries, and I believe Klein's would have been second highest (Behind Reid). So...he wasn't used.

Keanu was fantastic in "The Gift"...Totally credible as a lunatic, as he was in "The Watcher".
He's not as bad as people make him out to be.
He was also good In "Hardball".Which was his best Movie IMO.

As for Klein, Spidey said it best..."GOOD RIDDANCE!!"

I have to agree with you there Snik, Hardball is an excellent movie, I saw it for the first time a few nights ago and I was amazed at how low rated the movie was, then Keanu's performance was top notch

Not even close.

I never did like him in the first place. I don't like him because he tries to hard to be funny, in which he is not.

Hartnett was just in that Hollywood Homicide flick this summer.

I liked Hollywood Homicide. Hartnett doesn't do anything special, and neither does the movie, but I liked it anyway. Enough to watch it three times so far...

Well this might be why Chris has been in hiding lately.

Katie and Chris Engaged

By Lia Haberman

To the disappointment of devoted fans everywhere, Katie Holmes and Chris Klein are off the market.

Holmes was spotted in her hometown of Toledo, Ohio, over the holidays sporting a hefty diamond bauble. On Tuesday, Klein's rep confirmed the good news: The camera-friendly couple is engaged to be married.

No word on when the pair might swap vows.

The former Dawson's Creek cutie and fellow thesp Klein, 24, have been an item for the past five years.

Holmes, 25, aced her first Tinseltown audition for a role in 1997's The Ice Storm, which led to her six-season Creek stint as Capeside's Joey Potter.

Not long after taping on the show began, she was briefly linked to her costar Joshua Jackson, whom she has previously called her first love.

Holmes parlayed her small-screen success into several feature roles aimed at the WB generation, including Disturbing Behavior, Go and Teaching Mrs. Tingle. She upped the audience age slightly with roles in Wonder Boys, Phone Booth and The Singing Detective.

Most recently, the actress aimed for an edgier audience with her critically acclaimed indie offering Pieces of April, which received three Independent Spirit Awards nominations.

Next, the brunette babe stars in the romantic comedy First Daughter, due out in 2004. She's also in the running to star opposite Christian Bale (news) in the next Batman film from Warner Bros., pending a successful screen test.

All-American looker Klein is best known for his breakthrough role as a hapless jock with political aspirations in Election and as the lacrosse player with romantic aspirations in the first two American Pie movies.

Audiences see Klein next in The United States of Leland, opposite Ryan Gosling (news) and Don Cheadle (news), due in theaters April 2. Besides walking the red carpet, he'll have little time to help with the wedding plans this spring as he's scheduled to start shooting on the laffer The Long Weekend next month in Vancouver.
