Shannara

Has anyone read any of the Shannara series by Terry Brooks. I just started reading "The Sword Of Shannara" a few days ago and its pretty good so far. Any comments on these books?

So far I have read "The Sword of Shannara" and "The Elfstones of Shannara" and I am just starting to read "The Wishsong of Shannara". Both Sword and Elfstones are excellent, but Sword is the best so far in my readings of the series.

Yeah I've read them too. But frankly I kinda think they are knock offs of LOTR...

I've read the whole series and Sword a number of times.

Terry Brooks, David Eddings and Tolkien are the only fantasy authors I read.
