Ugh. A "Reservoir Dogs" game....

I love this movie....
It's one of my all time favorites.

Why does there have to be a video game about it????
I've read around and discovered that this was in the works.
What do you guys think? Here's what I posted at the Gamefaqs boards:
I absolutely love this movie. But why a game? OK - here's my idea of what you could do:

Level 1-
Play as Mr. Blonde.
You wrestle Nice Guy Eddie.

Level 2-
Play as Mr. White
Successfully drive Mr. Orange to the warehouse

Level 3-
Play as Mr. Pink
Kill a few cops

Level 4-
Play as Mr. White
Argue with Mr. Pink

Level 5-
Play as Mr. Blonde
Successfully Dance around Marvin, then cut his ear off.

Level 6-
Play as Mr. Pink
Convince everyone that he's a proffessional

Level 7-
Play as Any character
Kill every other character

LOL! This would be sooo incredibly lame.
What else could this game possibly contain???

Well they did say it would have racing elements. I'd imagine it would be much in the vein of GTA.

And for you naysayers, they made a game out of the Great Escape. Not a great game, but a game nevertheless. Besides, I don't see what all the fuss is about! They made games out of countless movie titles, and most failed miserably anyway. Its the movie that matters, not the game that 'adapts' the movie, and is forgotten in under a year.

I have read up on it and it appears that the game will take place during the robberey. Fill in someof the places we didnt see in the movie. Im syked. I dont care if it sucks I will still own it simply because its reservoir dogs.

Yea they were designing the KILL BILL video game to be released with the DVD but after they chopped the film in half The Video Game and The Book went out the window.

at this rate we'll have a racing game based on The French Connection. A GTA type thing based on the Godfather. A fighting game based on Citezen kane. A First Person Shooter based on Casablanca

Reservoir Dogs will initially be released by SCi on Sony Playstation 2 and Microsoft Xbox. The game design will remain faithful to the original movie with gamers able to play all the key characters, including the infamous Mr Blonde. There will be the opportunity to take on the role of key policemen, plus take part in large multi-player games. As well as significant amount of combat action involved in the heist itself, which is described in the movie as a “bullet festival”, the game will also include a number of highly charged driving escape sequences.

I still cant believe that they are actually making a FIght Club game... that is the complete opposite of everything that movie represents...

yeah and the idea of fight club isn't about winning fight, everyone was friends in fight club and it was a great relieve of stress

i think they should add some of the terrorist missions in the Fight Club game. It seems that there is only going to be.........fighting. Wouldn't it be bad ass to like to get into the basement of the credit card company with your van, or that other one where the thing happened to Meatloaf(i know what happened, just not aying it for spoiler alert). That would make a great game.
