I don't know if you guys have seen this yet or not....

I found this on tarantino.info:

"A little disappointed he couldn't find him a role in “Kill Bill” nor get the planned “Vega Brothers” off the ground, Quentin Tarantino has decided John Travolta will definitely be in his next picture. The renowned writer-director is in talks with Miramax to do an airplane thriller, with Travolta fittingly cast as the film's pilot. Not unexpectedly, considering Tarantino's love for the old classics, his film will have an Airport/Towering Inferno-like disaster story intertwined in it – in this case, the ultimate airline disaster. The flick, which Tarantino also hopes to have “Jackie Brown” lead Pam Grier co-starring in, is planned to happen as soon as he finishes work on his World War II pic “Inglorious Bastards”, which he apparently couldn't find a role for JT in either. It's in draft stage. And what's the status of “Vega Brothers”? According to our scooper, it's dead as a doornail – never to happen. Thanks to ‘EyeDax' "

Interesting.

It was noted on http://movies.yahoo.com/upcoming that Inglorious Bastards may be more than one movie, and also that Kill Bill may have a sequel, but this is the first I have heard of this project.

Good to know Vega Brothers can be left alone.

Hell yeah it is.

I keep hearing Inglorious Bastards is a trilogy...

I don't know what they'd do with a Kill Bill sequel. It would most likely be a prequel since Everyone dies, and Beatrix get reunited with her daughter in Vol. 2. She has no reason to kill anymore

Well...the plot actually follows, in what seems like it would be cheesy for anyone but Tarantino, the daughter of Coppertop actually following Beatrix's instructions and hunting her down...

Huh. Doesn't seem like enough to base a whole movie on.

No, but that was the germ of the idea.

Heh... that Kill Bill sequel looks better than an Airplane disaster movie... but with QT, who knows?

Exactly.

What if Pam played a Flight Attendent?

Hey. I think Quentin Tarantino has long since earned his right to do whatever the hell he wants to. What a great filmmaker.

Right. I mean, look at what all he's done - from crime to just great characterized dramas to kung fu to war...

QT should just stick to one project, work on 'Inglorious Bastards' and release some info to us loyal fans. We don't know **** about that film yet and already he's talking about his next project.

There's plenty of info on Inglorious Bastards...search the title, there's a thread in this forum.

I see QT being like Stephen King and his novels. He is doing like 10 at a time and cant be stopped!

What? He had like a 4 year period of doing nothing but writing Inglorious Bastards...

I kinda think an airplane movie would be perfect. Say they do a leadign events up to the airplane disaster and a gunfight where everyone is carful so they don't shoot out a window...that's tarantino baby.
