Devil May Cry comics coming soon...

I was a huge fan of the Devil May Cry game and story... and I was friggin psyched when I heard about the comics. In the most recent issue of Gamepro they stated they would be coming soon and had a sample... I know it wasn't much to go by, but what did everyone think of the art and such? Do you all think it has as much promise as I do?

No, it's an adaptation of a video game. Plus the other is 11 minutes older.

Apparently the comic will be done by a team that includes Pat Lee, Brad Mick, and Edwin Garcia, in case any of you recognize them. In early 2004 It will become a monthly comic, and the artists plan to stick to the "very gritty oil painted technique". Upon looking further into it (AKA reading the paragraphg before the comic) it turns out what appeared in Gamepro is an exclusive short story, and not a sample of an upcoming issue. I personally like the way they portrayed Dante... casual/cocky with one-liners that are hilarious from him but would be ungodly unfunny from anyone else. Just like in the game.
