What ever happened to Ghost Soldier, the Tom Cruise, Spielberg WWII movie?

I read something about maybe a year ago and then nothing. Anyone know what Im talking about?

Well, I have some bad news. As interesting as that sounds, it must of been just a rumor. My search on Yahoo movies turned up nothing.

i heard a while back that spielberg was going to make a WWII that took place in the pacific, that may be what you are thinking about. if that is the case, i believe there hasn't been any news about that, and was probably a rumor like the previous post said.
