View Full Version : ROTK TV Specials and Footage

I'm not sure if there is a general thread about this already (I did actually look!) but if there is all mods should feel free to delete.

My friend (not a very good friend because she didn't pay enough attention to get details ;) ) just told me she was watching the WB on Sunday and they mentioned some kind of ROTK special or sneak peak for this Wed., the 10th. It's not a separate program (checked TV Guide) but it's possible they will be airing some kind of footage during the commercials of one of their programs. If anyone has any info. on this (like what show it's airing during) I'd greatly appreciate it.

It's simply just a new tv spot advertisement for ROTK. I believe at 8:00 eastern time, I may be wrong.

thank you! Well at least now I know what I was getting excited over (nothing). The spot could be worth it though, as long as they show enough new footage.

on NZ TV, we had this program on ROTK eariler this evening, and they showed quite a lot of new footage, but only in bits and blobs. most of it was the stuff that was on Norwegian TV, but there was quite a lot of stuff at Dunharrow too. something else interesting, it said that Sauron sends a total of 600000 orcs into battle, and we know there's 200000 at Pelennor, so that means about 400000 at the Black Gates. they also had one or 2 shots for the gag reel in there

GAG REEL?!? According to Dominic Monaghan, the reels may not ever be released to the public, saying something about how embarassing he would find it. You are very lucky if you saw even a tiny part of them.

hmm, what dom said isn't really that good for those of us who want to see them. there were some others from the gag reel that we saw on TV a few years ago, but they were from FOTR
