Hi this thread is for anybody who has played monkey island 1,2,3 or 4. Tell me what you think of it the best jokes and what you think no 5 should be like. :D

i love the sreies there great but am half way though in monkey island 1

but most looking forward to monkey island 5 if they ever make it because the vooddoo women always says 5 year contertat :)

The bald guy in the first one was pretty funny. And the insults you threw at people when training to swordfight was great! I wish I remembered some of them...

Monkey Island 1 was, and still is the best of the bunch.

I really wish I still had my old copy somewhere. I want to play that and Loom again. I'll probably go find a Lucasarts gift package on Amazon or somethin.

The Monkey Island Series are my ALL TIME FAVORITES!!!(fallowed by Space Quest, Laura Bow, Gabriel Knight 1,2).

Adventure games, nowadays, are not the same anymore. :(
Oh well..., I have played MI1 a dozen times already, but I am still playing it every year, it has become almost like a tradition you can say.

I just love the characters, the story, the puzzles and the "not taking itself too serious" kind of approach.

I got introduced with the series when I was about 13 years old and since then, as I mentioned before, I can't get enough of it.

I just hope that they are truely going to do a MI5, hopefully NOT in 3D, like Monkey 4 was but instead, rather more in the direction of Part 3!!

OK, I think I wrote more then enough now, I will end my post by saying: " If you haven't played M1-M3, you are truly missing out on something, take my word for it!!!"
