Share your philosophy on everything, life, love, And other things of that nature, no silliness.
The only way to learn the truth in life is to have an open mind.
Fear is the mind killer.
You most believe in something, or you will fall for anything.

All that matters in life is love, everything else is just filler.

I don't think this will go anywhere unless you actually start off with something.
Often peopel wont just drop down a bunch of paragraphs after seeing the word "philosophy" and "whatever" ;)

Why do service men have no freedom of speech or anything, but that is what they fight for and die for?

My philosophy on life is that good and bad things will continuously happen to you in cycles, and the best thing you can do is try to keep a positive attitude and go after whatever you want. Self-doubt is the biggest reason people fail in things. There will always be people who have better and worse lives than you do, no matter how happy or miserable you are, so don't bother comparing yourself to other people because it's pointless. Focus on yourself, take things at your own pace, and don't let other people try to mold you into who they want you to be. Love is the most special and amazing feeling in the world, kind of like the "holy grail" of existence. Once you've found someone you love and want to spend your life with them, you should consider yourself blessed. Nothing makes you feel more alive or more happy than being with someone you love. Even if it doesn't work out, you will remember the moments you spent with them for the rest of your life, and they are irreplaceable memories.
Those are my philosophies on life and love. They are entirely what you make of them, love yourself before you can truly be ready to love another, and just make your life great at all costs.

As soon as they enter the army though they are assigned a number and trained to let go of any free thought.
I agree though that its good that we (most of us here anyway)have a choice when it comes to serving in the armed forces now though - unlike so many other countries.

Their freedom is the choice to be a part of the institution or not. Your military has to follow orders or it does work. They can think what ever they want, but they still have a job to do.

anywho, ever since i was little i have always wondered,
How do i know i am where i am? I mean, right now your sitting at a computer, right? but what if your not, what if your really in a bathroom, or standing naked inside a crowded mall? hmm, how do you know your not, huh?
sort of like the matrix.

as far as i know, that means something like this
"I know that i am"
i'm not too sure about the swee though. could be a written representation of how suis is pronounced, but it could be some other verb

Almost! "I think, therefore I am." The guy that originally said that was French so that is one of the first things in la Francious I learned to la say. And swee is in there because I may be able to say things in French but I cannot la write it, monsiur.

Time has a meaning for every man. Whether it be to ease the pain of ones past or to incure the unknown pleasure of ones future. Time can't heal what is present in existance, but existance can heal pain in time.

Kind of going off of LadyFireFly's post, there's a poem that my mom stuck on the fridge a couple years ago and it's still up there.
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure, than success, than what people think say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It can make or break a company, and individual or a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable.
We can only play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you... Charles Swindoll
