What the hell is double posting?
I thought double posting was when you posted something and as you hit the post message button you got an error message and you had to hit refresh and you posted twice.

_manuel_: That's one case of double posting. The other case is when people post a message, and either immediately or later on, post another message that appears right after their own post. They could simply use the edit button to add on to their message, instead of double posting. That's what it's there for, I'd assume.
EDIT: See? I edited.

double posting isn't usually cared about. triple posting is frowned upon. quadruple posting (i've only seen it once). i'll just say that person got a decent yelling at

Hey don't forget that Jeff Stackey does this sort of thing all the time, I've seen him post 6-7 times after each other before

It varies depending on the length of time between posts and the content.

Isnt that a bannable offense?

BoM: Well, that's what I mean. A lot of people on these forums double post. I'm not saying that they should be banned. Far from it, but at the least, they should be reminded that they could just as easily edit their post. Plus, it makes them look more professional, anyway.
If they're double posting simply to up their post count, then I believe they're spamming, regardless of the content their message.

IMO, that is better, because then each page is a normal size. If 20 people use one post and then post 10 pictures, then each page is endless. It gets annoying to sort through them all.
