Which Movie had More Action

You can define action as Fighting or Battling. But IMO, there was more action in Reloaded. I heard so many people, even critics, saying that there is more action in Revolutions, but how. There was less fighting and more CGI. In Reloaded there was more fighting than CGI.
What do u think?

Revolutions IMO.

Even though it was one long VFX film, i think they've put SO much effort into the action that the critics haven't notcied it, and haven't panned it cos; of it.

I think Revolutions is the first ever film to:

- have top-notch 100% perfect SFX and VFX
- to not have critics slamming it cos' the fact it's one long visual effect
- to have people thinking about it none-stop, even if they didn't like it.

Congrats. Wacho-Bros. You've made a A-class movie.

People WILL be saying "The story was great but the special effects looked fake compared to the last Matrix film" when they see ROTK.

I'm going for Reloaded - it has more action in it.

But Revolutions had the better action.

Depends on if you like Kung Fu action or CGI action.

Revolutions didn't have nearly as much karate style action. There was Club Hell and the Neo/Smith end scene, and even those were laden with CGI (like flying) to help.

However it had very strong CGI things that were more than the other two. Nothing in the first two came close to the Battle of Zion.

Yeh - he said it alot better than i did. But he's right.

I hope the opening battle sequence of Episode III which has a huge battle in Coruscant - promised to be the biggest battle ever on film is as good. It should be as they have alot of time to do it.

there was more action in matrix revolutions by far!

first there was a 8 minute action sequence with the bouncers and then in the coat check area of the hell club.then more action thats about 2 minutes long after the talk with merv.

2nd there was the fight with bane that lasted about 7 minutes long.

3rd there was the zion battle and the chase after niobe and morpheus which was 17 or more minutes long.

4th there was the 6 minute battle with neo against the machines where hes blowing them all to hell.

5th there was the ultimate battle between smith and neo which lasted around 10-11 minutes.

all around 50 minutes

where as in reloaded:

the first was the fight with trinity at the beginning and the jump out the window which lasted 2 minutes and 45 seconds.

the second was the fight with neo and the three agents which lasted a lousy 50 seconds.

the third fight was neo and seraph which lasted a lousy minute.

the fourth fight was neo vs. all the smiths which lasted 6 minutes.

the fifth fight was neo at the chateah which lasted 4 minutes.

the sixth fight was trinity and morpheus vs twins which lasted a lousy minute and a half.

the seventh was the car chase battle which most of it was just driving but it lasted 14 minutes.

the eighth was niobe vs cops which was 20 seconds.

the ninth was morph and neo vs smiths which was 40 seconds.

the tenth was trinity vs agent and neo saving trinity which added up to 3 minutes.

and the last was neo vs sentinels which was 25 seconds.

all around 34:30

difference is fifteen minutes.

and the first matrix had the least out of all of them the animatrix had more action in it.
