The Source, Neo and Smith?

Ok. Let me see if I've got this straight...

The source in The Matrix is actually just a computer mainframe right?

If that's the case then why are people claiming Neo got "absorbed" back into it like he was some program?

My understanding of the whole thing is that Neo is human and what the machines wanted from him was all his life experience up to the point just before returning to the "source"

So what the machine's called Neo's "code" is actually just his memories. Once he enter's the mainframe then the machines download his memories and Reload the Matrix in order to try and fix the anomly that keeps reappearing in each version of the Matrix.

The Anomly or The One is just one random human being in each version that is born inside with a brain that does not except the computers simulated world and that allows him or her to manipulate the enviroment. It also allows them to stay connected to the computer mainframe or "source" even outside of the Matrix and in the Real World.

So when Neo deleted Smith in M1 he also allowed Smith (unknowingly) to copy some of his memories and skills giving Smith more of a free will like a human and this is why Smith did not return to the mainframe and get perminately deleted from The Matrix.

At the end of Revolutions then....Neo had to allow Smith to clone over him in order for the machines to gain access to his program and delete him, right? Since Smith wasn't jacked in like a human and he wasn't apart of the system anymore that would be the only way the machines could get a direct link to him was through Neo.

I don't think Neo was absorbed...or whatever their claiming. The machines just copied his memories along with the ones Smith had gained and used both parts to reload the Matrix making this new one alittle more perfect than the last. Neo is still alive and intact...I'm guessing he's actually evolved into a higher form of life..well, human life. He's probably somewhere in 01 learning from the machine AI. Or wrse case scenerio he's trapped back in limbo and being held captive...in which case Morph and Niobe would have to save him.

Is Neo something that real is unavoidable or is he made the way he is to gather the human pride and give them false hope while giving the machines the knowledge they want?

Neo is a real human. Becuase he was born in the Matrix it allowed him to become a possible choice in the randomness of the unbalanced equation. That being that one human would be born once every Reload with the ability to fully manipulate the rules of The Matrix because of their unique psychological makeup.

Neo's mental powers are a step above any normal human's. He's a mutant to some degree, if you want to use that term. I like to think he's and the other ones are apart of the next step in man's physical evolution along with some help by the machines.

The funny thing is the Machine's caused the problem of The one by trying to manipulate human's to begin with.

You seem to be a guy who knows wtf he is talking about. I read one of ur other posts where you say that Seraph might have been the first ONE. But when neo asks the oracle if she and seraph are programs, she says yes. What does that mean? Also how did the machines display love to Neo in the train station when neo is the one who teaches the machines love once he is re-entered into the matrix?

I think you might have read someone else's post. I never wrote that Seraph was a previous One.

He's a Angel program leftover from The first Perfect Matrix. The one no one excepted, then it crashed.

Seraph escaped deletion from that Matrix with the help of Mero, The Devil. Mero fell from good "graces" with the system and hid within The Matrix. He found the Trainman program (The backdoor built into the Matrix) and convinced him to join his group, either through bribery or temptation. All of Mero's group has used this "backdoor" to escape deletion everytime the Matrix Reloads.

Seraph pissed off Mero because he saw the error of his ways and went to help protect the Oracle to redeem himself in order to once again get into good graces with The Architect (God).

As far as Seti goes. She is there to show Neo that machines can evolve and learn. Two programs created a third for no other reason than because they were in love.

The architect probably only saw this as an error and that the third program (Seti) served no purpose. So they called for her deletion. This is why the father made the deal with Mero to help his daughter escape by giving Mero the Oracle's codes.

here is my source theory

It all startes with the architect speach "there are levels of survival we are willing to accept" he speaks of the source wich is the machine that plugs neo into the matrix, thats why he was ingulfed in light. anyway the light represents there life or life force if you wanna call it that neo can see this because his mind has touched the source. he has a connection with it, every machine is powered by the source and thats why neo can stop them they are connected to the source as well.

The sentinel going through neo's body well i think there are two parts to the machines the machine in the real world and the machine in the source, when neo stopped the sentinel the machine tried to overcome neo in the source.

and the ending well when smith takes neo over smith is direcly connected to the source giving the dues ex machinea direct access to all the smith clones kinda like a network and he enters neo and smiths prime programming into the source and reloads the matrix just as the architect said would happen.
