Hey all. I just watched this trailer (http://www.apple.com/trailers/focus_features/eternal_sunshine.html) and think it looks awesome. I was thinking it reminds me of something unorthodox, but awesome, like 'Being John Malcovich' or 'Adaptation,' and as I found out, it is, as it's written by Charlie Kaufman. Jim Carrey looks great in a semi-serious role here, and the supporting cast looks awesome as well. I really can't wait. I love the idea behind the film, and the way it looks is classic Kaufman. I have a lot of hope in this being a great film...

Rest of the deatils below. Watch the trailer!

But as Joel's memories progressively disappear, he begins to rediscover their earlier passion. From deep within the recesses of his brain, Joel attempts to escape the procedure. As Dr. Meirzwiak and his crew (Dunst, Ruffalo, Wood) chase him through the maze of his memories, it's clear that Joel just can't get her out of his head.

This is probably my most anticipated movie of 2004, as there will no longer be a Lord of the Rings movie to look forward to at Christmas time.

Yeah this looks like it could be something good. I really enjoyed 'Adaptation'; 'Being John Malkovich'............But, this movie is not directed by Spike Jonez, but, Charlie Kaufman is the screenwriter, so if he has anything to add in this film, then I'll be there to see it, Looks very weird and visual so i'll check it out. :)

looks great. Kaufman hasn't let us down yet, and this just looks good. Of course it's limited though. It also looks like another sweeping drama for Jim Carrey to try to get the oscar he doesn't deserve.

I'm most excitied about the director. Michel Gondry directed videos for The White Stripes (Fell in love with a girl, Hardest button to button) and I'm really interested to see how he is as a movie director. Charlie Kauffman has written some awsome films though, so this is bound to be great.

Limited release because it's a weird film. Weird films, even ones that might connect with the general public, always have limited releases forced on them.

3 new posters up.

Yah, Giondry has already directed anotehr great movie recently called "Human Nature"which incidentally was also written by Kaufman.

I recomend anyone anticipating this movie should check this one out in the meantime to give you an impression of what we might be into, and trust me, with the cast, you won't be disapointed.....
