So what happened at the end of the movie with all the Smiths? How did he die? I dont get it. ANd did Neo die at the end?

Smith was destroyed thru neo (just was he was thought to be destroyed in the 1st movie. ) remeber, the machines jacked neo in, therefore they were bound to neo directly....once smith copied himslef onto neo, he too was bound to the machines and that's when smith and all his clones were "deleted".....Neo being dead or alive is up for debate..some say he's dead because both "anomolies" had to be destroyed and he appears lifeless at the end of revolutions...but this trilogy has taught me that "appearances can be deceiving"

Baadsah - her death was forced in my opinion...of all the ways she could've died.....i agree with many others when i say "her death in reloaded" was much more suitable

Rather Smith died coz he had no more purpose left.

OMG what other way would of been more suitable for her to die? She died believing enough in Neo and his mission for her to risk he own life to do something no one had ever done before. She also died knowing that for at least once she saw the real sky, not a computer programmed one. I cannot think of a better way for her to go out.

I agree that it was sad that Trinity died but as was said by the the architect "She will die and there is nothing you can do to stop that". I dont think that Neo could have went on after the war without trinity and vise-versa. Also I dont think that they left it open for a sequal, Neo died because the equation balanced itself out. They rebuilt the matrix and now The machines will let people free themselves. When the oracle sais they they will prob see neo again I think that she is refering to him being reincarnated later. If you remeber Neo is saposidly a reincarnation of someone else
