A Song of Fire and Ice

Just wondering if anybody out there had read the Song of Fire and Ice trilogy by George R. R. Martin. I have just completed it and I have to say it is awesome. A great epic story with a wonderful mix of fantasy and sword play. The first book Game of Thrones is great and sets the stage wonderfully. The second, A Clash of Kings really picks up where the first left off and really gets going. And the third A Storm of Swords is a really great finish. Martin tells the story through numerous characters at a time, but really keeps a handle on everything. I would recommend this book to any fans of fantasy out there.

I'm reading it right now, and yes, great series. He's got a style that's very unique (for me at least). It's more than a trilogy though...I think he's got 2 or 3 more books coming out in that series. ;)

I love these books. They are uniquely un-Lord of the Rings style fantasy, which I like. Tyrion is da Imp. :D

Anyone who likes fantasy should get a kick out of these.
