I'd take this with a grain of salt. It seems now that the Wachowski's have had their fun with the Superman-like character Neo, they are turning their eyes towards Superman. Lets hope they make it more like M1 than Reloaded.

The Wachowski brothers making Superman would be great but unless there's any solid evidence of this claim I'll take it as just another rumour

I would certainly prefer them at the helm than McG!

It's a rumor, but I found it on Dark Horizons.

I'd take McG anyday.

The Matrix Films do not appeal to me one bit.

I refuse to see the sequels , I didn't care for Part 1.

That's my Opinion , I know it's popular, it's just not for me.

sniktawt. Fair enough, but you can't deny that the direction and the technology used in the Matrix were top notch!

McG's direction in Charlies Angels was awful. I never once cared for the characters.

I dont care even if it is Lorenzo the bus driving murderer who is directing that one if it is made well!!

McG 's approach on Charlie's Angels was an intended spoof , designed to showcase as much action and t & a as possible , I don't think his direction was for the audience to care about the characters it was mere Eye Candy and it worked for me.
His intention on Superman will not be a spoof so you may see McG in a whole new light.
I loved his direction in CA.

I kinda agree, but if that is the case what was the point of making CA2 the same? No artistic growth there!

Is it worth Warner Bros spending 215million on someone that hasn't proven themselves yet? I don't think so!

Well If you put it in money perspective, you are so right.
215 MILL is a lot for someone who we really don't know can pull off an actual "Story".

His action sequences for Superman will be breathtaking that's for sure, but can he balance it with a dramatic portion as well.
Time will tell.

All I want is Billy Zane as Lex Luthor and I'll be happy.

sniktawt. Yep Zane is a good actor and deserves a decent break!
