Despite being pulled over to the dark side, Darth Vader finds it in himself to resist the emperor (finally) and killes him. But doing this electrocutes him, and thus his suit is unable to funtion. Basically, he suffocates because he saved his son's life.

Then he leaves the office, and runs out to play. He scares some crows, which scares a mechanic, who pulls a lever accidentally, which drops a huge glass window on him, crushing Tim, and gushing out his blood.

This is another one of those things...

Sure, Darth Vader's a cinematic moment, but the real scene is when he throws the Emperor into the pit. While that kills him, I don't think that's his death, and I think the whole bit with Boromir fighting...I think that counts as his dead.
