Wilson, from the movie Cast Away

While technically not a death, it could be called one.Wilson's "death" came when Tom Hanks' character finally escaped from the island with Wilson, and they were floating on the deep blue. Unfortunately, Wilson comes untied, and floats away. Tom Hanks sees him, but is unable to swim all the way to him, because if he did, he would not be able to get back to the raft.

Danny stood up to one of the black kids earlier in the movie. Near the end of the movie, when Danny went to the school bathroom, he turned around to find the black kid pointing a gun at him. He was then shot, and obviously killed

Despite being pulled over to the dark side, Darth Vader finds it in himself to resist the emperor (finally) and killes him. But doing this electrocutes him, and thus his suit is unable to funtion. Basically, he suffocates because he saved his son's life.

Despite the excellent plan to blow up an asteroid by drilling a bomb into it, the only way for it to be a success it for one of the team to detonate it manually, because of a number of mishaps that occured. Harry volunteers, but they draw straws. Someone else get it, but Harry shoves him back onto the shuttle, and blows it up, as his life flashes before his eyes.

Sloth (by starving and leaving a man to die in a room, for a year),
Lust (by forcing a man to murder a prostitute),
Wrath (by killing Brad Pitt's wife and unborn baby, to teach him a lesson),
Pride (by cutting off a woman's nose),
and Envy.
He commits the first 6, and then Brad Pitt ends up killing the psycho for his Envy of Brad Pitt.
(I may have mixed up a couple of the deaths, but the deaths are the same, just maybe not the sin)

Despite the excellent plan to blow up an asteroid by drilling a bomb into it, the only way for it to be a success it for one of the team to detonate it manually, because of a number of mishaps that occured. Harry volunteers, but they draw straws. Someone else get it, but Harry shoves him back onto the shuttle, and blows it up, as his life flashes before his eyes.
