A little off-topic, but I'm kinda confused here...

When I saw the thread, I figured that this was a book-to-movie adaptation 'Battle' thread. Clicked on it, and was proved wrong.

Then I read, and I quote "have a list of 30 movies that are SLATED to be released in 2004. Some may not happen, some may. It doesnt matter. You need to vote on what you would like to see, IF IT WERE MADE."

Ok, I figure your thread is voting on movies that have yet to be made... I don't understand what this has to do with 'Adaptations', but okay...

Then I read your latest 'Battle', which pits Gladiator against the French Connection. Huh?

Now I feel like the guy from that Twilight Zone episode that slowly finds that he can't understand what other people are saying.

The next battle was of movie adaptions, and the winner of that was Fight Club.
Now we're on the battle of the oscar winners for the last 30 years of so.
Ive asked a mod to change the title, but no one has yet.

Ive already tried changing the title myself. It doesnt work.

I didnt start a new thread, because this was where everyone was coming for the next battle, and it just evolved. This way, they can check for previous winners that they missed, and still participate in the current battle. Its just convenient.
