Yeah it has to do with messages. It stands for something like IMHO or LOL, things like that. I looked in lingo dictionaries but couldn't find it anywhere.

Nevermind, I think I finally figured it out from context. It must be Please Prove Or Retract. The people were using it like it was a common thing, but obviously it wasn't.
