American James Bond

James Bond is the coolist agent every to have Licence to Kill. And hes british. There have been a few who have tryed to knock out 007 with minamal success. XXX from the XXX movie, and Ethan Hunt from the MISSON IMPOSSIBLE movies. Who do u think is the best american version of 007? XXX OR Ethan and Y?

I would say EthAn Hunt from Mission Impossible. I think the first Mission Impossible is more true to the Bond formula than the second one was, but the first movie has more dependence on the espionage (like the first Bond films), double crosses(like the more recent Bond films), and spying in general. XXX is more cheap explosions, extreme stunts, and stuff like that. Now Bond movies do have cheap explosions and extreme stunts, but the entire movie isn't based on that, like XXX is. Now, the second Mission Impossible is more based on stunts and stuff like that, but I think it's still closer to the Bond format than Xander Cage is.

Ethan, xxx is the sterotypical american movie action star. Ethan has some class.

When they made xXx they tried far too hard to pass 007 but Mission Impossible was it's own movie, they didn't try to pass anything or to be like anything else. So IMO MI is the better movie of the 2
