Umm.. Yeah... this forum needs the excitement of something new..I am guessing things won't really pick up until Spring of next year..say a month before the movie comes out.. but meanwhile we can have really unrelated, off topic and totally awesome threads going.. like this one

It's a really, REALLY bad movie. Written by Spielberg and, ironically enough, Chris Columbus.

What's really scary is who's in it: Sean Astin

Yeah..and he wasn't that chubby as a kid.,. But I don't actually think the movie is that bad..it was pretty good as far as 80's teen movies go:)

Yeah.. It's different when you are yourself a teenager and watch it.. I remember seeing it and loving it.. I remember that about the movie Willow too, but of course now I can't stand that movie
I still kind of like the Goonies tho:)

I'm not sure I would call that one a teen movie. Then again, when I think of 80s teen movies, I think of Sixteen Candles, Say Anything..and the biggie, Breakfast Club.

Haha! You're right, that was Astin! Bear with me, it's been a while since I saw it. You know, the 80's had some pretty good movies. What about Ghostbusters and the Back to the Future Trilogy? Anyway, what does this have to do with Harry Potter?

Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, 2 of my favorite 80's movies. I also liked Goonies.

It's so true....I must've racked up 500 posts or so in the HP forums alone in about a month over the summer. Now I am soo bored. These threads have gotten off topic to the point that, if you miss one day, you'll have no clue what's going on (unless of course you take the time to back-read pages and pages....I know I definitely don't). POA can't come soon enough...at least give us the teaser. We need something concrete to talk about so we can get rid of all this tedious speculation.
