Vote for your favorite Stephen King novel. I put on as many as allowed, but if yours isn't on there then just write it in a post.

Cujo was really good.
But Dreamcatcher was great! (wasn't on the poll)

Too bad you can only vote for one. My favorites are:
- The Shining
- Misery
- Eyes of the Dragon
- IT
- The girl who loved Tom Gordon (I dont know why so many people dont like this book. I thought it was really good. It is one of only two books in my life which I have literally read in one sitting.)

Yeah. I'd like to say The Dark Tower as my answer, but that's kind of cheating, so I'll have to go with The Drawing of the Three. Where Roland was coolest, before he got all soft and fuzzy and Arnold-in-T2-like.

"Wizard & Glass" was among my favorites. Actually, I liked so many, it would be easier for me to name a few of my least favorite books (Gerald's Game comes to mind immediately)

I'm a huge King fan, but for some reason I've just never liked the Dark Tower series. I've tried to read them on numerous occasions, and it just doesn't work.
I am quite partial to IT.

I am the only person so far to vote for Eyes of the Dragon. It just goes to show how I am the only person in here with any sense, ha ha ha. jk
Different Seasons...i think that was what it was called. Because i loved te stories "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" and "Apt Pupil"

I just finished Firestarter and it was great. Before that I read the Dead Zone which was another super novel. It's so hard picking my favorite, because every time I finish one of his books, I just stop and go "damn, that was good".
Not sure what I should read next...

Also, I hope the adaptation of Talisman will be good and stay true to the story. I loved that book! Hell, if Steven Speilberg is producing, that's a good start!

Wizard and Glass was the Dark Tower entry I thought I would like the least, but as it turns out, it was the best in the series. I am eagerly waiting for this series to come to a close as I can hardly wait until June for Song of Sussanah....
...and the Tower is closer...

I don't know, he could turn it into sappy e.t. like thing, when it's acctually should be dark, a touch cynical, and at points Brutal.

Misery had amaxing tension to it. One of the few books I really felt I "couldn't put it down".
I read extended edition of The Stand when I was like 15, that thing took me a year to read! Great story though, kinda trails off towards the end, but still good.

I've been waiting for this series to close since Gunslinger came out back in '82. It's been a long ride, but I know Stephen will make it worth it.
And yeah, W&G is one of my favorite books period. King made the point that he had to remember what it was like to be 16 again. It reminded me too...

To date the king books I've read have been,
Carrie
Different Seasons
The Talisman
Desperation
Dreamcatcher
The Gunslinger
and I'm well into The Green Mile
so far I would say Dreamcatcher was most enjoyable, The Gunsling the finest (most lierate), and Carrie the best read.

my fav is not even on there: the girl who loved tom gordon, i am not a stephen king fan, i hate most of his work. he takes a cool idea and it starts out very well but then it just gets cheesy and stupid. TGWLTG was his best IMO.
