Trust me. Yev Kasem is not a typical argentinian name. I would know. Besides, I think I read somewhere that the soup nazi is based on a real guy who owns a real restaurant, and that guy was also from khazakstan or somewhere around there.

yes the soup nazi was based on a real person. But we're talking about the character in the episode right? Are you just going by his name?

Yev Kasem was the character in the show, not the real person.

Kramer in the episode when Jerry is out of town and Kramer alters Jerry's apartment in many ways.
My question:
What are Elaine's and George's Middle names
TxFilmMkr
10-14-2003, 10:43 AM
Elaine Marie and George Louis
Next question:
What's Kramer's one complaint about wearing an eyepatch?

Name 2 characters co-creator Larry David has played on the show, 1 is very difficult because it is brief
TxFilmMkr
10-16-2003, 11:22 AM
Obviously he's seen from behind as Steinbrenner, but he was also one of the other Greenpeace guys in the raft with the NBC guy who went crazy for Elaine. His line was something like, "Get down, I think they're going to start shooting" or something to that effect.
He was also a lot of voices, such as the original Newman.
TxFilmMkr
10-16-2003, 11:31 AM
What did Kramer eat off the Pig Man's tray?
Shaister
10-16-2003, 06:56 PM
It's a Bologna Sandwich
Those two you mentioned weren't the ones I thought of. I know he did Steinbrenner but I didn't know he was in the raft. The ones I was thinking of were Frank Costanza's lawyer and a vendor who doesnt accept George's 20 with lipstick on the President
My question is very tough because it includes outside sources. Name 3 characters(not main in only single episodes) on Seinfeld that were characters on Days of our Lives.
_manuel_
10-17-2003, 12:37 AM
^^Characters or actors?
Either way its hard as hell...
I cant answer it without using the internet, so Ill pass I guess...
Shaister
10-17-2003, 08:20 AM
Ok The answers are the bank manager at Chemical Bank(Abe Carver on Days of our Lives), the Doctor Kramer sees when he's "low"(Rolf), The lady that Newman feels the material of and she yells at him and he runs away(Nancy).
My new question is name 2 costumes George has dressed up in

You mean Peterman.
Puddy was on the show longer than he was.
We'll have to wait and see when TxFilmMkr comes back on.
If it's not Puddy it's Susan.
She was on the show for a few seasons.

I've heard about this, but it's not true. I've watched checking for it and have not seen it.

The earlier episodes don't show superman on the fridge or the statue or figurine on the book shelf but later episodes they're always there.
And no way Peterman appeared more than Puddy or Susan.Pitt was there as much as he was.As was Lippman (sp?).
We need the answer.
TxFilmMkr
10-27-2003, 11:14 AM
Okay, of the people you mentioned and a few other recurring characters, here's the order from least appearing to most appearing:
Mr. Pitt 8 episodes
Mr. Lippman 8 episodes
David Puddy 11 episodes
Steinbrenner 12 episodes
Uncle Leo 13 episodes
J. Peterman 20 episodes
Mr. and Mrs. Seinfeld 24 episodes
Mr. and Mrs. Costanza 26 episodes
and the winner-
Susan who was in 27 episodes
sniktawt
10-28-2003, 11:08 AM
I did say her
Puddy only 11???
PETERMAN 20????
Are you sure ?
Did you compile this list yourself or off the net ?
TxFilmMkr
10-28-2003, 12:06 PM
I'm sure. I got the list from one of the most comprehensive Seinfeld sites on the web. Not only did they have the number of episodes, but which episodes. I was at first surprised at the numbers too. But when you think about it, Puddy was in a lot of well known episodes spread out over many seasons, but you don't see him as often as many every day characters.

Trust me. Yev Kasem is not a typical argentinian name. I would know. Besides, I think I read somewhere that the soup nazi is based on a real guy who owns a real restaurant, and that guy was also from khazakstan or somewhere around there.
it seems like some people didn't get the "argentina" joke. it's hardly worth discussing because it has nothing to do with yev kasem's origin, as we all know.
argentina has the reputation of being one country real nazi war criminals escaped to after world war 2, so that's why newman said that the soup "nazi" was moving to argentina, and that's why it's funny...
