Signatures?

I was wondering how we create a profile signature. I see a show signature at the bottom of the screen as I write this thread, but how do I create one to begin with? Thank you.

You go to your user cp up in the corner next to register, calendar and what not, go to edit profile and in there it says Signature and in the box provided type whatever you want just so long as it's not offensive
