This is what director Kevin Smith, a good friend of Ben Affleck, posted on his official message boards;

It's flat-out speculation. Read all those articles and you'll find there's not an ounce of legitimate corroboration.

Wednesday night, I was up at their place, watching "Dirty Pretty Things" (they've got a sweet-ass 35mm theater in their house) and they looked and sounded pretty far from broken up to me. And mind you, that was the day they called off the wedding.

Maybe folks are reading a little too much into the fact that Jen's in Miami and Ben's not at the moment.

Regardless, I'm still giving them their wedding gifts. The **** I got them both is too cool not to give 'em just because they're not getting married TODAY (not to mention, the gifts are
unreturnable).

Actually, he commissioned a video game with JLo as the hero, and the goal being to save Ben. He only had one copy made. That is why it is completely unreturnable. I read that in Entertainment Weekly, I believe.

Really? Yeah maybe that was a thank you for being in the movie, and not the wedding present. I just remember reading it in Entertainment Weekly a week or two ago that he had a video game made.
