I don't know if this has been asked before. I was curious to see how everyone felt about a "Production" section to the site. Seeing how a lot of our members are into films with aspirations of working on or being in movies, I thought it would be good have a forum where we can talk production, ie > What kind of films have you done? What have you worked on? What equipment do you use? Tips for shooting film, Tips for sound, Tips for screenwriting, Acting techniques, CGI and so on. Or if movie lovers have questions about "how did they do that shot in...."

What do you think? Is there enough of a demand for a section like this? There are a ton of people here who are just starting out in the business, may just have questions about film making or have genuine advice and experience.

Thanks for listening.....:)

INteresting idea, but the question is do we have people here who are qualified to give that kind of advice?

I've been in commercial production for 7 years, I've also worked on a number of short films. I'm sure that we have some young directors, grips, PA's, films students, and actors in our midst.

Why not make it "Production/indiefilms"?

The mods might prefer that one.
