solaris bent my mind HELP!

at the end of solaris (this prob seems like stupid questions) but, ok, did he die? because when he was back on earth he said he had to learn human gestures and stuff, but then it flipped back and showed him not getting into the pod. so, did he stay on the ship and solaris regenerate earth for him? and who was the black lady's visitor? and did that little boy have any significence to the movie at all? so im thinking he died and came back? but if thats the case then who remembered him and bought him back? coz he was sweating and stuff and it looked like he took all of the pills, so it seemed as if he killed himself. and did the space ship actually crash into solaris at the end.

anyone's guess are way better than mine, id like to hear some oher peoples versions.

I saw Solaris (the recent one) and hope your talking about this one and not the origianl. Anyways, I hope this helps:)

who was the black lady's visitor? - i have no idea, i also wanted to know but the movie didn't show anything (it's kinda creepy not knowing)
did that little boy have any significence to the movie at all? - yes, he was the son of the man in the videotape that Clooney was watching in the beginning
so im thinking he died and came back? - yes, solaris created him, therefore, the boy is not real
did the space ship actually crash into solaris at the end - i believe so, the ship was heading towards it at the end

i did mean the recent one with g.clooney cl.

i was pretty sure that he had died because he didnt get in the pod near the end, and i was almost certain that he would have died when the ship crashed, but then i rethought it and thought maybe he died when he was sweating and stuff! arghhhh it really has messed my mind up.
