i know ALOT of people will disagree with this, because this film is getting mixed fan reviews.

this is the most fun popcorn horror flick ive seen in a LONG time. there are some really disturbing scenes in this movie where your totally grossed out, yet eli roth finds a way to make them totally hilarious just seconds later. the fingering scene, the dog scene, the bumpkin invasion scene, the slo-mo martixy mullet kid, the deer hitting scene, the ironic ending all hysterical. great great great movie. best horror film released this year in my opinion. dont expect to be scared though. if your looking to be scared you probably wont like this. its teen-sex-comedy actors getting stuck in a horror movie. this movie shifts about 30 mins into it from a teen-sex-comedy to an all out horror flick. gruesome deaths, fantastic make-up, i highly recommend this movie to anyone that likes the evil dead series or anyone that wants to see a gross-out hysterical horror movie.

if you have been waiting for something new in the horror genre, this movie is it!! DO NOT LET THE TRAILER FOOL YOU.

not very big, but Eli Roth is David Lynch's protege so he got some good backing. the make-up and bodies are VERY realistic looking.

i just saw it. the only part i really liked was dennis and the old man. it was hilarious. nasty though. i had to sit through it with my brother and his 11 year old daughter. he shouldnt have brought her. she's too young to watch sh't like that.

I agree, this movie was purely entertaining. I think what made it so good was despite it not being a serious horror film the characters were so well done. Especially Paul and Bert. I'm probably going to see this again soon....

I want to see this movie.

But for some reason, they're not playing it in Newfoundland....

They did this to me with House of a Thousand Corpses and now they're doing it to me again!

I thought it was pretty good too. It just threw me for a loop a few times. I thought it was a thriller..then it went to a bloody horror movie..than it was like deliverance..lol Pretty cool, and definately something I haven't seen in a horror movie in a long time.
