what a bummer. i remember my granpappy used to listen to him. i had no idear that he was on that goofy show in the 70;s, tho.

Um, I think you are combining Ritter and Johnny Cash. Your grandfather probably listened to Johnny Cash, as Ritter was never a singer. They both passed away though.

It's John Ritter. He was on the 70's show Three's Company. I wasn't a real fan of Johnny Cash though. I felt very sorry for him when his wife died but now he can join her

Your grandfather may have listened to Tex Ritter, though. He was John's dad, and was was a big country music star around the time of Hank Williams (and early Johnny Cash).
