Well, I would post my review but Disney would probably tear me another one... so, I'll just say 4/10

Here's my summary:
Clichéd and predictable, it's more like "Bore Creek Manor".

Well, it's more of a thriller. There's not really any horror.

Thats too bad. It looked to have potential. It was one I was looking forward to. Maybe I'll pass now.

Just out of curiousity... ARE you putting the review up? I want to read it now.

Is it like Amityville Horror? I got a Amityville vibe from the teaser, or was it a trailer?

ok, since I probably won't see it now, can you please block out what exactly it was crawling through the sheets in the preview if there is no supernatural anything going on?

Dumb DA DUMb DA DUMB!

I thought that this flick was about supernatural activities involving a manor???....What a bad asumption on my part.
This movie sucked...

1. Way Too Long
2. What was the point? It wasn't scary, they tell you who the killer is, and the ending was completly predictible. What is there for the audience to stick around for???

Did anyone care if Dennis and Sharron lived or died???
After the first hour of boring and pointless dialoge I couldn't care less.

I even liked Cabin Fever better than this...And that was REALLY pathetic...Anyone feel the same???

I guess i'm going to be the only one to say something good about this...

I've been looking forward to Cold Creek Manor for a few weeks now, so I went and saw it. Overall, not a bad film (IMHO) -- I wasn't expecting a supernatural movie, so I wasn't suprised when I didn't get that.

I was thrilled and at times chilled...

Don't regret dropping the $8.00 to see this one

I just saw this movie on Saturday with my wife, and it was an utter and complete piece of crap. I couldn't believe how bad it was. Terrible dialogue, amazingly predictable plot with absolutely no surprises at all, and every cliche I could think of.

There are times in the movie where I was wondering why certain characters were reacting to things the way they were, because it was so unrealistic.

** MINOR SPOILER FOLLOWS**
A couple of minor spoilers here, if you can call them that since you'll see them coming pretty early on...

If you were a sheriff, and someone brought you a retainer that they found on their property and it had teeth in it, and those teeth and the retainer matched those of a missing girl, what would you do? Would you call it circumstantial evidence and give the guy a walkie talkie, then tell him to let you know if he has any trouble with the guy who has been threatening him and is the probable killer, then go about the investigation at a liesurely pace and not mention it to anyone else? Probably not.

Man, this movie even had the bad-guy-explains-what-he's-going-to-do-before-killing-you cliche. Terrible.

And Sharon Stone, who normally plays very strong women, here ends up watching the men fight while she stands back screaming. Another cliche.

**END SPOILER**

So consider this thread a warning. For the sake of your time and money, do not waste either seeing this movie.

She is in her forties....time to find a new female celeb to fantasize about. Or just keep watching Basic Instinct. Just a Thought...

Q. Did anyone else find the entire Old Man thing pointless???

For what very little plot development he gave, I think his scenes should have been left on the cutting room floor....scratch that...I think this entire movie should have been left on the floor and swept out with the rest of the garbage.
