JLA/Avengers

What a great issue! Everything, from the Avengers fighting the giant squid, to Batman laying out Punisher, and even Thor putting the smacketh down on Supes. This was awesome and I cannot wait for the brawl that will occur next issue.

I got to tell you I found this issue to be a big dissapointment. Some of the moments you mentioned were indeed pretty cool, but overall the story is a big letdown. These cosmic battle stories are a waste of time. It seems just like some stupid excuse to throw these heroes together. I don't know, I just had some better hopes for a book of this magnitude. It reminds me of The End series that Marvel just did. It seems to me that they are just coasting on the clash between the Avengers and the JLA rather than put any good thought into how they come together. Hopefully it get's better.
